Home of world-class "Trestles". Landmark to the longboard spot "Oldmans" are the famous "nuclear tits" - round boob-shaped domes with a single light on top of each dome which is San O's nuclear power plant.
San O also is the perfect spot to meet friendly surfers. I've been in cali for a month and It was here that i met the most wonderful family of longboarders from Encinitas. The BBQ chicken and sausages were just perfect. Tortilla chips and guacamole on the table. Only thing missing is a bottle of Tequila; drinking on the beach is illegal. Smoking too is prohibited.
No sharks sighted thank God :)
Instead, we saw a lonely seal swimming near the shore..
Had some steady surf sessions with them lot.
Kerek invited me over to their homebreak at Cardiff to point out to me Rob Machiado's beachfront surf shack.
Saw the famous "restaurant tour" ;p
Well, good things do come to an end ..... FOR NOW !!! :)
What remains are the memories of Cali sunset sessions and the friendship with people who share the same passion and endless stoked vibes as you do.
